The Learn for Lauren Foundation is committed to starting the conversation on mental illness and suicide awareness, providing resources, and continuing Lauren’s legacy of life-long education by funding the Lauren Taylor Vitrano Memorial Scholarship. The foundation serves as a constant reminder of the impact suicide has on communities, and the need for more open discussion and education. It provides a space for mourning, remembering, and celebrating the short, yet meaningful, life of Lauren Vitrano.
The first annual Learn for Lauren Foundation benefit will be held Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Bourbon Street in Merrionette Park. This event aims to celebrate Lauren’s life, paying tribute this year to the Posthumous Doctor of Pharmacy degree she earned in May.
All ages are welcomed and encouraged to attend. There will be a food buffet, raffles, a hosted bar for adults, and activities for kids. Tickets are available in advance and at the door. Free valet parking is available to all of our guests. 100% of the proceeds benefit the Lauren T. Vitrano Memorial Scholarship.
